Ncmpcpp error while loading shared libraries

ncmpcpp: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem.so.1.58.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried installing a reinstalling, uninstalling dependencies and reinstalling (with Packer) which I believe recompiles it.

Don't know what else to try. I'm on Boost 1.6 now, if I revert to 1.58 it works. Not sure what's causing it, it's strange hmm

Re: Ncmpcpp error while loading shared libraries

Sounds like you're doing partial updates -- ncmpcpp was updated on Jan 17th and depends on libboost_filesystem.so.1.60.0. Run 'pacman -Syu', and don't do partial updates..

What is the output of

pacman -Qi ncmpcpp
pacman -Si ncmpcpp

r seemed  to be two NCMPCPP's

Re: Ncmpcpp error while loading shared libraries

Please remember to mark your thread as solved.

You may want to think about where this other version of ncmpcpp came from. Have you installed software with 'make install'? If so, this is something that you may want to avoid doing in the future.
