[SOLVED] Screen is slightly off center.

the HDMI on my TV stoped working, so I changed to the VGA output, but now my screen is slightly to the left, with a black bar on the right.
if I change to any other resolutions (e.g. `xrandr -display :0.0 --output VGA1 --mode 800x600`) the screen starts at the correct position, but 1920x1080 always start at the wrong position.

Re: [SOLVED] Screen is slightly off center.

Try using xorg-xvidtune to centre your screen then click on "Show" to display the modeline which can be added to an Xorg configuration file.

What is your video hardware and driver(s)?

Re: [SOLVED] Screen is slightly off center.

I fixed it, there was a hidden option on my tv to move the screen.
Thanks for the help though
