[SOLVED] Symbols rendering incorrectly in various applications

I'm experiencing a strange issue where some symbols are not rendering the correct symbol. For example, in tmux the pane border is represented as â instead of a line. I included an image to show just what is going on. In the image the other 2 symbols rendering incorrectly are my workspace indicators at the bottom left, showing as large boxes instead of medium sized boxes, and the symbol near my uptime indicator, bottom right of window to the left. Any help will be appreciated!
