Hi all. I've been having some difficulties updating my system, in particular the nvidia-lts package. Nvidia Xserver says I have 358.16 so what gives?
Heres what pacman outputs:
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: nvidia-lts: installing nvidia-utils (361.18-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-utils=358.16'
Any help is much appreciated.

I don't know if this is related but I think there is an issue with the new version of pacman: when I call
# pacman -Dkk
it returns
error: missing 'nvidia-utils=358.16' dependency for 'nvidia-lts'
However the nvidia-lts package was never installed:
# pacman -Qi nvidia-lts
error: package 'nvidia-lts' was not found
# paccache -d -v nvidia-lts
==> no candidate packages found for pruning

Think this is effecting me, since I have both NVidia and the lts package. The lts package still needs to update to the new version.

It has been already reported: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/48048.

So, it sounds like we have to wait for the repos to be updated then?

I'm pretty sure that's the issue. I checked NVidia's page and it looks like the 361.18 drivers are still in beta. Is that why the nvidia-lts hasn't been updated to them?
