I have a few scripts that stopped working after perl-html-parser 3.71-4 => 3.72-1 specifically. I thought is may be perl-libwww 6.15-1 since it was such a major version jump, but I downgraded both and found perl-html-parser to be the culprit. Running perl -MLWP::Simple -e 'getprint "http://search.cpan.org/dist/libwww-perl/"' is the simple way I used to prove this out. Maybe there is a new way to use these modules that I am just not getting. Anyone else having issue?

Yep, that's my problem. I discovered I had another versing installed with CPAN that was causing the issue. I had another read through https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Perl_Policy and introduced myself to cpanm.
