[openrc] tty* disappears after a while

I have used openrc without problems but recently when I spend time in X, then CTRL+ALT+F1 or CTRL+ALT+F* gives me a black screen (instead of "Arch Linux [...] tty1"). I can type but I can't see nothing.

I just want to know why my system belongs this way and how can I fix it.

Thanks,

Re: [openrc] tty* disappears after a while

Hi,

I know you mentioned tty switching, but if you close down your WM, and drop back to the tty, are you able to see it and type?

Regards,

Luke.

Edit:

Also you say after a while, have to timed how long it takes? or done anything to find out if something is causing it, or if it's just after a certain amount of time.

I don't know the amount of time.  Hours. How can I triage the bug and discover which program is in charge of that?
No. If I exit of X, then all is the same: I can't see the tty*

Does your Login manager and DE/WM loads up successfully on boot? Could you also post your dmesg log too, don't forget the code tags!

This could potentially "lock" you out of your computer if it is a black screen, and you can't do anything, so if you have another computer to use if this does go black, then please do this, if not, don't yet. Disable autostart of your login manager. Just thinking that if you do those then reboot, we will be able to see if you get the tty1 login on successful boot, or if you just get a black screen.

Regards,

Luke.
