Whenever I reboot my system all Plasma 5 Desktop widgets are gone, the "taskbar" with all my launchers and widgets is still there...
I have to select "add a widget" from the desktop menu, and all of them are back.
Why doesnt this happen automatically or is there any way to fix it?

yes, this is a local problem. I moved ~/.config/ and ~/.kde4/, still not working, with a newly created user everything was fine

Consider to move (delete) ~/.cache/* and move ~/etc/xdg/Trolltetech.conf to some backup file (i.e. *.bak), too.

~/etc/ doesn't exist for my user, deleting ~/.cache/ didn't help either. I found out this has something to do with my dual monitor setup.
If I set them to "unified outputs" or set them both to (0, 0) (overlapping each other) the widgets are not loading.
If i set them side by side everything is working fine...

`etc` is not located in the ~/.$user's folder, it is located in the root partition which is `/etc`
