Soft poweroff for harddisk

Hello Archers,

my harddisk (Samsung EcoGreen F2) is always clicking loud when the system is powered off (shutdown, suspend, hibernate).
This problem doesn't exist under Ubuntu and Windows.

I have already searched this forum, but couldn't find any suitable threads. The few which are matching this problem are very old and the proposed solutions aren't working on a systemd based Arch system:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=249390

So, are there any working solutions to avoid this loud clicking and get a soft poweroff for the HDD?

Thanks in advance!
