This is the first time I've tried messing around with suspending on my laptop, due to the aforementioned problem, but I am lookin to finally get this resolved. Running 'systemctl suspend' causes the laptop to go into suspend mode, but it will be unable to resume after suspend. Instead I will only be greeted by a black screen, and unable to get any response via keyboard. The only thing I can do at this point is shut down my laptop manually and restart. This occurs on suspension from shell, or when the suspend 'button' is pressed when the screen is closed.
I could use some insight on just what I should do to get this resolved. I included the relevant output from journalctl -xeb -1. Any help would be appreciated!

-- The system has now entered the suspend sleep state.EDIT: I installed pm-utils and ran pm-suspend. My laptop did the exact same thing. For a better idea of what happens, the laptop screen will go black on suspend, and my power button and battery light will blink orange. Apparently this is the hardware indicating it is in a suspend state, as soon as I attempt to exit suspend, through button press or pressing the power button, the laptop makes a sound similar to that when it is shutting down, but instead will remain with a black screen. After which the power button will flash a steady green, and I will be unable to exit suspend at this point.
