[Solved] No firefox/vlc update

Hi, i was trying to update but I get this miss

 Warning: could not be resolved <<ffmpeg 2.8>>, a <<firefox>> dependence  

Do you want to skip the following packages for this update? [Y / N] Y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: Firefox: needs ffmpeg2.8

 sudo pacman -Ss ffmpeg 

extra/ffmpeg 1:3.0-1 [installed]

 sudo pacman -Ss ffmpeg2.8 

without result

same miss for vlc...

Any advice folks

Yes, I have also go this repo inconsistency:

warning: cannot resolve "ffmpeg2.8", a dependency of "vlc"
warning: cannot resolve "ffmpeg2.8", a dependency of "ffmpegthumbs"
warning: cannot resolve "ffmpeg2.8", a dependency of "firefox"
warning: cannot resolve "ffmpeg2.8", a dependency of "gst-libav"

I also got hit by that warning, but now after updating as usual I'm getting:

VLC media player 2.2.2 Weatherwax (revision 2.2.2-0-g6259d80)
[0000000001b14048] core libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.
fish: “vlc” terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)

Anyone else seeing this? I've restarted Xorg seing glibc was also updated, but to no avail...

worst of all, I can't play videos neutral, so you say we must wait a fix, just wait?, Ive searched info but it was useless haha.

You could try another mirror that is more up-to-date if your mirror isn't getting the update.
