VLC and SSR still uses Qt4, why?

I noted that in a lot of distros VLC and SimpleScreenRecorder are compiled against Qt5 libraries, but in Arch they're compiled using Qt4 libraries...

Re: VLC and SSR still uses Qt4, why?

VLC's dev pages and wiki still list qt4 as a dependency:
http://www.videolan.org/developers/vlc.html
https://wiki.videolan.org/Contrib_Status

Arch typically follows upstream unless there is a good reason not to.

EDIT: Simple Screen Recorder also lists qt4 as a dependency: https://github.com/MaartenBaert/ssr

You can read this: https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/11772 It's rather old, but still valid. Even with this patch I cannot build either VLC 2.2.x or 3.x (nightly) on pure Qt5 because default GUI (skin2 or something like that) is still on Qt4.
