xkblayout-state (https://github.com/nonpop/xkblayout-state) is an utility to print the current xkb layout setting. Cloning the repo and make'ing it works fine.
There is an old PKGBUILD (from the previous AUR) available (http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/ … e/PKGBUILD) which is fairly trivial (it points to a fork, which is lacking a few recent commits, so I switched it back to https://github.com/nonpop/xkblayout-state); however, installing the built package results in an executable which segfaults when started. I tried adding (!strip) and switching the build flags to -Og but gdb still doesn't have the symbols for debugging.
Thanks in advance for any help.
