Unable to launch Magicka 2 on Steam using primusrun

When launching the game through Steam normally, using intel graphics through mesa, it runs fine (though with terrible performance).
The game fails to launch when using primusrun %command.

I have tried some of the suggestions found on the wiki, including replacing/deleting libraries to use newer ones, but without success.
Naturally, any assistance would be most appreciated.
