Audio Driver

I've installed Arch with MATE Desktop successfully, but audio is not enabled.
First I install "alsa-utils alsa-plugins alsa-lib" driver and then run "alsamixer" to change volume and after that test speaker by "speaker-test -c1".
But again there is no sound and icon of sound card on task-bar.
In control center ---> sound there is no sound device detected.
My audio card is "HDA Intel MID" and chip "Realtek ALC889".
Which step is remained to enable sound card?

Re: Audio Driver

Did speaker-test and alsamixer work fine, and you unmuted your card in alsamixer? In that case your audio should work fine with ALSA.

Did you install 'mate-media' as instructed in the wiki? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MATE#Configuration
