System block after lid closing

Hi all.
I have this problem since some months.. and until now i resisted but i really can't do it anymore..

Now I describe the issue. As the title, when I close the lid, the entire system suspends, but once I reopen it, nothing happends.. For "bypass" this issue until now i modify the "HandleLidSwitch" line from commented line to "HandleLidSwitch=lock". By this way, when I close lid, the system doesn't suspend, so when I reopen it I can use the system. The only nuisance is that when I close lid all the connections are still opened and my friends see me as online when I'm not in reality.

Have you any advices to solve this?

Sorry for bad english

Re: System block after lid closing

Your problem is resume from suspend not working properly, or does it work when called independantly from lid close?

hey, thanks for the answer.
The problem is the suspend, independantly from lid closed or not.
In fact, if I type in the terminal "sudo systemctl suspend", all system crashes.
