However when do lsusb I see

Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0a5c:5800 Broadcom Corp. BCM5880 Secure Applications Processor
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 413c:8187 Dell Computer Corp. DW375 Bluetooth Module
Bus 002 Device 010: ID 0d8c:013c C-Media Electronics, Inc. CM108 Audio Controller
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0461:4db1 Primax Electronics, Ltd
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

and arecord -l does not show the device:

card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: 92HD81B1X5 Analog [92HD81B1X5 Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

I Googled around but can't seem to find a solution. Any help?

Re: Can't connect Tonor USB Microphone

FWIW switching from Cinnamon to Gnome 3 fixed the problem and I can use the microphone.

(Not marking as resolved since didn't really fix the problem)
