Hi Guys,
I am looking for my VDR Backend a solution to watch BBC Red Button Teletext. How do I go about it?

BBC Red Button uses MHEG-5 (and MHEG-IC), so you need MHEG-5 support.
According to the ArchWiki page for VDR, VDR doesn't support MHEG-5.
However, I know nothing about VDR so can't say if that is still true or not.
Linuxtv.org wiki has pointers to some “RedButton MHEG” software; maybe further exploration there may help

Yes I know, this project isn't active anymore since 2009.

I was actually taken by surprise the Teletext is still around. I thought it was a fantastic idea -- in 1980.
It has hung around longer than other technologies.
I assume that these newer standards are more than frame grabbers of old and that they are packing then as digital data and rendering them locally? Or are they actually doing screen grabs of digital television ?

Actually, BBC Red Button is the replacement to Ceefax.
It's shame, but I think we can receive BBC Red Button Service with a set top box only.
