I have a Thinkpad Yoga with a mini-HDMI output, so I use an adapter to connect it to the VGA input of projectors etc.
This worked fine a few months ago, but it has stopped working now. xrandr now detects when I attach the adapter, but it fails to detect the right device and the correct supported resolutions through the adapter; trying to use one of the offered resolutions doesn't seem to do anything.
Downgrading to xorg-server-1.17.4-2 and xf86-video-intel-1:2.99.917+478+gdf72bc5-2 fixes the issue. However, it renders me unable to use the keyboard (I can use the mouse after installing the old version of xf86-input-mouse, but installing an old version of xf86-input-keyboard and xf86-input-evdev does not seem to help).
Two questions:
1. what else should I downgrade to get my keyboard working with the old settings? I really do need the adapter for presentations.
2. what's the proper place to report this bug?
