linux-lts -> no xcursors, linux -> freezes when exiting X, linux 4.5..

Hey guys.

I have bad luck right now.

The 4.1.X (lts) kernel breaks my mouse cursor... it does not show up at all, only after restarting X. Also described by the Manjaro guys: https://forum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=20673.0
With kernel 4.4.X, my system freezes when I try to exit the X server.
With kernel 4.5 my system cannot suspend. It fully freezes after the screen goes blank. No logs after that point, and no concerning logs before it either.

Combo: Laptop with Intel Haswell CPU, Intel HD4600.

I'm curious if anybody else is facing any of these issues.
