After Kernel v4.2.5 HDMI Monitor cannot be waken up from suspend/sleep

Hello everybody,

I am facing an annoying problem.  Since I upgraded from kernel v4.2.5, one of my dual-display monitor cannot be waken up from sleep.  I've tried each kernel update, till now, the latest is 4.4.5-1. I am still having this problem. Also googled a lot, tried others' "workrounds", didn't help me.

My desktop PC has two monitors, an old LG 19'', VGA and a HannsG 28, DVI->HIMI. (i don't have standalone display card, and my motherboard has only DVI and VGA, so I used an adaptor DVI->HDMI).  I usually suspend the system when I don't use the PC,  with kernel 4.2.5, everything was working. Once I upgrade to higher version, the 28'' (HDMI one) cannot be waken up from suspend. Right now I just turn the monitor off and on again to make it work.

I have tried:

# xset -dpms

It didn't help.

I tried after system waking up from suspend, on the 19'' monitor xrandr off and on the HDMI one, didn't help.

But if I downgraded the kernel to v4.2.5, all problems are gone.

My

/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d

directory is empty.

I don't know what can I still try, in order to solve this annoying problem.... Please help. If more information is needed, just leave a comment.
