It's not listed as a requirement by the package but today after I removed dconf I noticed that libreoffice stopped working (refused to load). I re-installed dconf and libreoffice works again. If it is indeed a requirement then the package will need to be updated. Can anyone confirm that it is the case?
Environment: Arch x86_64, Plasma 5, libreoffice-fresh 5.1.1-2

May depend on which VCL you're using. GTK3 requires dconf.

I don't have gtk3 installed, so libreoffice isn't using it. dconf isn't required by any package on my machine at the moment, but libreoffice does require it to function properly, so there must be something wrong in the package configuration.

I'm confirming dconf is needed by libreoffice.
I was having exactly the same problem and installing dconf fixed it.
So hk2717 thx for fix.

Confirming as well, OO refuses to start without dconf.
Error messages are misleading, so I'm posting them here.

Why the bug is now related to gtk3 and missing colord if it is not the case?
