[SOLVED?] Unable to detect SSD in XPS 13 (9350) in install environment

Hi all I have a new Dell XPS 13 (9350) however my hard-disk is not detected so I am unable to proceed with the install, lsblk only lists the Arch USB drive.  I'm guessing it's because it's using a type of RAID "Intel rapid restore technology" but not sure how I can get this up and working.  I went through both these articles but it looks like at least the second one is out of date?

I ended just flipping the disk operating mode to AHCI in BIOS - had to flatten and reinstall Windows but I hadn't done much to it so wasn't a big deal.
