WonderShaper

Hi,
Is there any reason why WonderShaper is not included by default like in every other good distribution?
Is there any good alternative easy and fast to setup like WonderShaper?

Greetings.

Wondershaper is no more than a script setting up the kernel to handle bandwidth management. To be honest, it isn't anything fancy, and is pretty generic. After a short read of lartc.org you are able to write your own queue setup that'll suit your needs better.

And, I think, the reason why wondershaper isn't included as default is the same as why you don't get Xorg running out of the box after install. In Arch you have the control, and it is for you to choose what you want and what you don't need.
