[SOLVED] GNOME 3.20 Backlight kept on when screen locked

Hello all,

since updating to GNOME 3.20 (X.org) my Thinkpad X240's backlight is kept on when locking the screen.
On GNOME < 3.20 it would turn off.

Any ideas on how to investigate?
