Hello,
Some time ago I installed the package aur-git (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/aur-git/). It used to work if I recall correctly, but it's some time now that it's not updating ever. I always get the "already up to date" message when I try to update. This reflects on the usage of aura (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/aura-bin/), which returns "already up to date" on sync too.
I was wondering if the problem is mine or aur-git's.

maybe try another mirror ?

What program is generating that message? It isn't makepkg.

No, it's not makepkg, it's aur-git itself. In practice it works like abs, it syncs the whole aur in you /var directory, and it calls 'git pull' whenever you run it.
maybe try another mirror ?
But I don't know if there are other mirrors, do you know some?

In other words, you're trying to pull from something that's no longer updated. Broken pacman mirrors is something else entirely.

Okay, so is it possible to find a git from which I can pull that is still updated?

Not that I know of, though I guess you could clone all git repositories from packages.gz ....

For anyone intrested, installing aur-git brakes aura. What I'd like to know is why aur-git is still up on the aur if it is not mantained anymore
