Arch-specific tools?

How many tools exist that are solely for Arch?

So far I know of pacman (duh!), aurbuild and qpkg but I guess I'll find a lot more useful stuff by browsing the user contributions forum.

What do you use for a more comfortable AUR usage and are there any common pitfalls with aurbuild/qpkg?

Re: Arch-specific tools?

some other arch-specific stuff

makepkg abs makeworld (all in the pacman package though)

srcpac, pacbuild, namcap

thousands of gui frontends, the most famous probably being jacman.

My only problem with aurbuild is that sometimes there are other deps in unsupported that aren't installed automatically. This is a bit of a pain, but its a feature not a bug; you don't want to be installing unsafe software.
