[SOLVED] netctl not working

I've messed around with so many things now that I must have broken something and I can't fix it.

I am simply trying to get netctl to give me a wired connection.

Here is my profile 1

Interface=enp0s3
Connection=ethernet
IP=dhcp

I run

sudo netctl start 1

Which gives

Job for netctl@1.service failed because the control process exited with error code.

Journalctl -xe shows more or less the same. I'd paste it, but I'm not sure how I'd go about that...

The netctl wiki says to disable any conflicting network service. Not sure what conflicts or not, but I have disabled everything from dhcpcd to netctl itself.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: [SOLVED] netctl not working

And for some reason it fixed itself after a reboot.
I suspect dhcpcd
