GDM black screen since update

Gentleman, i am in a problem:

Recently i used sudo pacman -Syu for update all drivers and programs possible, which i did without any problem
but when i reboot it appeared black screen without the GDM manager; so i reboot (after systemctl disable gdm.service) and logged manually and even used xfce4 without any problem with startxfce4
its very strange because before update everything was ok (lesson learned: never update again), and now it just appear a black screen without nothing; even i tried to instal SDDM as manager but when i use it also appears a black screen.
If someone can help me with this proble, i would be really thankful.

Re: GDM black screen since update

What does the journal say about the failed GDM/SDDM logins?

That is not a correct "lesson" to learn, BTW.

Have you searched the forums? I think a few others were having similar issues.
