Hi all!
I'm having this weird issue since i bought my new mouse (trust gxt 152) that is a gaming mouse with 4 speed (800, 1200, 1600, 2400 dpi). Obviously on desktop i use it at 800.
To the issue now: within small cursor movement (eg: trying to select an icon) cursor suddenly jumps some pixels around (often in the opposite direction), making clicking buttons very hard.
The faster the speed, eg at 2400, the greater the jump.
It is quite unusable.
I'm using libinput, and kde with its default settings for mouse.
I already tried https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mo … celeration (both methods) and https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mo … celeration (second method), with no luck.
Any idea?
Thank you very much!

Can you try it in Windows? Might be a hardware problem, e.g. the mouse's sensor being faulty.
Also try the mouse on difference *surfaces*.
Also set kernel mouse polling rate to whatever the mouse uses.

I'll try it on windows, thanks!
Btw i tried to set mouse polling rate as described on the wiki, and it seems the mouse reacts better, but sometimes it "flickers" again. Surely far less often!

Sorry for the late response...i found the root of the issue...it was my mat. I don't really understand why, but i feel pretty stupid for this! I did never think about that...
Thanks by the way
