Hopefully I'm at the right place to ask this one.
I'm trying to create a simple kernel module which can turn on and off the keyboard LED flashing, and can be controlled via ioctl(). It works fine on 3.16 (Ubuntu 14.04) but not on 4.5, with Arch Linux, the LEDs turn on, but after that it won't change, though the timer is keep running, and there are no errors. I have no idea what kind of mismatch causes this. The code can be found here.
I'd appreciate every kind of help/tips.
