Hey Guys,
I have a problem getting audio working on my Eee PC 1015BX. Only HDMI sound is detected by alsa, aplay -l gives:
# aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Generic [HD-Audio Generic], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
The SBx00 Azalia card is not shown by alsa, but detected by lspci:
# lspci | grep -i audio
00:01.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Wrestler HDMI Audio
00:14.2 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) (rev 40)
dmesg shows, that there is an issue finding a suiting codec:
# dmesg | grep -i codec
[ 3.837268] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:14.2: no codecs found!
I already searched the internet for a solution, but I haven't found anything that works. Has anyone ever had the same problem?
PS: here are some system infos:
# uname -a
