You should do a "pacman -Rcs xfce4" to remove xfce4 and the packages that depend on it first, since xfce4 is conflicting with xfce4-svn... But I'm unsure why it want's to remove xorg, does pacman say anything else?

My xorg is not up-to-date. Was pacman trying to upgrade it? If that is the case, why?

Perhaps xfce4-svn depends on a newer version of xorg? Maybe try a "pacman -Syu" before installing xfce4-svn
