Whenever I try to print to PDF or a printer LibreOffice won't print any scandinavian letters.
It does work with other non-english letters such as cyrillic.
I have tried to install libreoffice-fresh-da but it did not fix the problem.
My PDF viewer is qpdfviewer in case it has any effect on this.
Example:
Before print:
Øl æbler ål müsli Överkalix Färila Это тест
After print:
l bler l m sli verkalix F rila Это тест
Copying text from a printed PDF that shows the same as "After print":
Øl æbler ål müsli Överkalix Färila Это тест
Does anybody know how to fix this?

I had a similar issue, with Libreoffice (e.g. fresh 5.1.2.2) excluding all Swedish special characters on pdf export. I solved it by installing a font package.
The same file would work on Ubuntu, with Libreoffice 4.2. I compared the output of pdffonts from two pdf:s, generated from the same file but on the two different systems. The one where the special characters were printed OK gave output
name type encoding emb sub uni object ID
------------------------------------ ----------------- ---------------- --- --- --- ---------
BAAAAA+LiberationSans-Bold TrueType WinAnsi yes yes yes 22 0
CAAAAA+LiberationSerif TrueType WinAnsi yes yes yes 12 0
DAAAAA+LiberationSerif-Bold TrueType WinAnsi yes yes yes 17 0
and the one where the special characters were not included gave the output
name type encoding emb sub uni object ID
------------------------------------ ----------------- ---------------- --- --- --- ---------
NimbusRomNo9L-Med Type 1 Builtin yes no yes 25 0
NimbusRomNo9L-Reg Type 1 Builtin yes no yes 12 0

After installing the package ttf-liberation pdf export of Swedish characters worked!
