Geeqie does not open anymore ARW (RAW Sony format) images

Hello guys,
since some time Geeqie does not display anymore my RAW files, which are supposed to be opened as I see in the Wikipedia page.
From terminal, when I try to open a ARW image, I get this:

[claudio@SONY-VAIO ~]$ geeqie
MissingRequired: TIFF directory is missing required "ImageLength" field.

The same files can be normally opened by any of my editing software (rawtherapee and darktable) but still Ii prefer Geeqie to just view the photos.

You might try providing more information, but aside that, I've not even heard of the format. 
Of course, I actively ignore all things Sony.

You might try providing more information, but aside that, I've not even heard of the format. 
Of course, I actively ignore all things Sony.

Both on my laptop and desktop PC with archlinux installed uses Geeqie as standard image viewer.
It is capable of RAW photo viewer but since time this feature is not working anymore. When I try to open a RAW file the terminal shows what I wrote over.
Tell me if you need more info, I think I gave everything.

I use SONY cameras and ARW format is handled by UFW RAW, Darktable, RawTherapee and has been done for long.
