[solved] Installing arch on server with no physical access

I plan to rent a server on the other side of the world smile

I do have free OS install options such as centos which I've used before but I am getting comfortable with arch now and would prefer to stick to one distro if it is faesible.

On the wiki the remote setup said you need physical access to do an install and didn't say anything about if you don't https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Install_from_SSH. Does that mean I'm SOL without? I see there is an option to install via a pre installed version of linux. So should I install centos first or is there a way to do if from scratch fully remotely?

Re: [solved] Installing arch on server with no physical access

There are VPS providers that offer archlinux support, check https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vi … ate_Server .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)

Mine is a specific good deal and I don't need support once it's installed just want to know the options for installing myself.

If you install Centos on the server, can you then use this wiki topic to install Arch? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … ting_Linux
