If I boot archlinux with external monitor unplugged, built-in display just works.
But if I:
boot laptop with lid closed with external monitor plugged in
turn off built-in display while external monitor is connected
I can't turn built-in display with any way (kscreen, xrandr, switching to vt)
I can't find any bug reports or description of similar issue. Any such links will be really appreciated.

UPD: Probably this folks experiencing the same issue but with different usecase: after suspend Macbook Pro 15" 2015 Suspends when lid is closed but does not wake up
