Hi there!
I'm running Arch with OpenBox on a HP Pavilion 15-ab111la. Since the first time I installed Arch on this laptop I'm having the same issue: I'm getting random CTRL presses. This happens even when I am not using the keyboard.. for instance, when I'm scrolling a website, It suddenly starts to change browser's zoom. Weird thing is.. this doesn't happen when running Windows, reasons why I discarded a hardware issue. On the other hand, nothing on Google.
This is what I get when I leave "xev" opened for a while:

I don't know what kind of information may be useful for debugging this...
