I have recently (two months ago) installed arch on a brand new computer. Since the day one I have problems with glitches in firefox, see example below:
http://postimg.org/image/6kkod1sld/full/
Firefox is the only affected application. The horizontal distortions appear randomly and disappear when damaged content is scrolled in and out of field of view. Similarly the glitches may appear when page is scrolled. Some pages seem to have higher probability of distortions than other. The height of distortion is usually one or two lines of text, and graphical elements are also sometimes affected. Removal of Firefox add-ons, change of default fonts, or change of desktop manager (lxde, gnome) doesn't help. Computer is gigabyte brix with i5-6200u and integrated graphic card. I would appreciate any suggestions on solutions.

Maybe this helps:
To check if OpenGL OMTC is enabled, go to about:support and under the "Graphics" section look for "GPU Accelerated Windows". If it reports "0/1 Basic (OMTC)" (possibly 0/2), OpenGL OMTC is disabled; if it reports "1/1 OpenGL (OMTC)" (possibly 1/2 or 2/2) it is enabled.
To enable OpenGL OMTC go to about:config and set:
layers.acceleration.force-enabled true
layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled true (default)Restart Firefox for changes to take effect.

Thanks! After enabling the OpenGL the glitches are gone, hopefully for good.
