Re: [SOLVED]cannot connect to Internet after forced shutdown

Wired, or wireless ?

Check the output of uname -a and of pacman -Qi linux   (Assuming you are running the stock Arch kernel)
Are the version numbers of the running kernel (uname) and the installed kernel (pacman -Qi) the same?  If not, the kernel won't be able to find its loadable modules.

What are the output of lspci -nn and of ip link   ?

Re: [SOLVED]cannot connect to Internet after forced shutdown

ewaller:
my computer do not have wired interface,  and i am using another computer asking for help.  the versions are both 4.5.4-1.
the output of lspci -nn,
...
Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43602 802.11ac Wireless LAN soC [14e4:43ba] (rev 01)
...

all the output of  ip link:
1: lo:<LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu ................
       link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd:00:00:00:00:00:00

output of    lspci -k
02:00.0:NetWork controller : BroadCom....
             subsystem: Dell Device 0020
             Keinel modules: brcmfmac

there seems to have "Kernel driver in use" here, but not in reality.

Re: [SOLVED]cannot connect to Internet after forced shutdown

That all seems rational (except for the missing NIC)

Are there any mentions of Firmware for Broadcom in the output of journalctl -b   ?

I was kind of hoping for something along the line of

ewaller@turing/home/ewaller % journalctl -b | grep firmware
May 14 10:35:34 turing kernel: iwlwifi 0000:01:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-3160-17.ucode failed with error -2
May 14 10:35:34 turing kernel: iwlwifi 0000:01:00.0: loaded firmware version 16.242414.0 op_mode iwlmvm
May 14 10:35:36 turing kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Intel Bluetooth firmware file: intel/ibt-hw-37.7.10-fw-1.0.1.2d.d.bseq
May 14 10:35:36 turing kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Intel Bluetooth firmware patch completed and activated

Re: [SOLVED]cannot connect to Internet after forced shutdown

it seems there is no problem in drive, as i just exe 'pacman -Syu' but without 'reboot'. and the there are some problem with the chip setting itself, after i start win10 in the same computer, and it also have some problems occur, and problems are solved in win10.  and arch goes well after that.

thank ewaller

best wishes
