[SOLVED] xxkb or another keyboard notification switcher

Hello,
I have an openbox setup on Arch Linux and I am using multiple keyboard layouts (I use setxkbmap for that).
I want to have an indicator on my panel (tint2) for the current keyboard layout.
'xxkb' seems to be a good candidate, however I do not like the feature of having the keyboard layout per window (instead of globally) and I do not know how to disable that feature.

Is there a way to do that? Or is there another keyboard layout indicator that does not have that "feature"?
Thanks.

If you need something simple, try to run skb (from AUR) as an executor with interval=0 and continous=1
https://gitlab.com/o9000/tint2/wikis/Configure#executor

There are also some others that display flags like fbxkb, or gxkb available in the AUR.

Thank you very much. gxkb is perfect.

I had success also with gxkb on Openbox + Tint2 (did not try the other *xkb). gxkb man page revealed that while it is running you can use setxkbmap to configure it.
I added these lines to my openbox autostart files:

gxkb &
# just to make sure
sleep 1
setxkbmap us,hu ,102_qwerty_dot_dead -option grp:alt_shift_toggle
