Too many devices in computer view of nautilus

I am running gnome 2.14 on my laptop, when I cilck the computer icon it displays icons for :

- floppy drive (I dont have one)
- CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive (I want his one)
- cd (dont need this one)
- DVD (dont need this one)

How do I get rid of these extra ones...........?

comment out the lines in /etc/fstab, since you use udev, dbus, hal and pmount i'm guessing you dont need those static entries in fstab.
