KDE nvidia-libgl high CPU load be on hybrid graphics.

plasmashell eats ~35% of my cpu when loading circle with broken animation appears in notification area or in task manager.
So, maybe there is a way to remove or replace by static icon this circle at all.

Also this happens only with proprietary nvidia drivers and it's known issue related to vsync and can be fixed by enabling  ForceFullCompositionPipeline=On in nvidia-settings or  KWIN_TRIPLE_BUFFER=1 in profile or  with __GL_YIELD="USLEEP" in profile. None of these solution worked for me because of Broken VSync in NVIDIA Optimus.

Also possible workaround is return old file transfer dialog instead notification one, but i didn't find how to do this.

I like KDE but this bug make me think about switching to Mate sad

Re: KDE nvidia-libgl high CPU load be on hybrid graphics.

This is definitely not a bug only on proprietary Nvidia drivers. I experience this on my Intel Ironlake powered laptop as well.

This is the relevant KDE bug report as far as I can make out:
