[Solved] PlayOnLinux is unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries

Hi,

PS 1 : I know that a person asked before about the same problem but the suggested solutions to solve it didn't work for me.
PS 2 : I've the multilib uncommented in /etc/pacman.conf and of course I did an update (sudo pacman -Syu) before launching PlayOnLinux.
PS 3 : I've the ATI opensource drivers installed

I got this error dialog box when after launching PlayOnLinux : "PlayOnLinux is unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries. You might encounter problem with your games".

lspci | grep VGA gives this :

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Mars [Radeon HD 8730M] (rev ff)

Terminal output when launching PlayOnLinux :

Looking for python... 3.5.1 - skipped
Looking for python2.7... 2.7.11 - wxversion(s): 3.0-gtk2

So do you have the 32 bit driver installed?

I assume that these are mesa-libgl and lib32-mesa-libgl if so, then yes I have them installed.

Re: [Solved] PlayOnLinux is unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries

Shouldn't there be more to the log? Or is that the *entire* thing? In any case, you'll likely want the 32 bit verions of opencl, openal, and what not as well. If you're certain you have the correct libgl's installed, then you may have to configure PoL a bit. I've used PoL in the past but, seeing as I don't have it installed currently, perhaps this will help: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … cs_drivers

Re: [Solved] PlayOnLinux is unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries

mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/home/s4nji/.PlayOnLinux’: File exists

touch: cannot touch '/home/s4nji/.PlayOnLinux//configurations/custom': No such file or directory

I'd start with deleting /home/s4nji/.PlayOnLinux   .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Well guess what, it worked lol I had noticed that output before but I was convinced that it wasn't the source of the issue. Thanks a lot smile
And also thanks to both of you JohnBobSmith and Scimmia smile
