Corsair k70 not detected by ckb

My Corsair mechanical keyboard is not being detected as such despite it being plugged in correctly. I tried USB 2.0 and 3.0 connections and neither seem to work. Perhaps its also important to mention that two ports on the back and two on the front flat out don't work at all. But my 5 port usb 3.0 PCI card does. lsusb reveals this information.

        |__ Port 3: Dev 6, If 0, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M
        |__ Port 3: Dev 6, If 1, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M
        |__ Port 3: Dev 6, If 2, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=, 12M

That should be your corsair keyboard.

Bus 3 is also used by 2 other devices, and it looks like you have another usb 3 hub port available on bus4 .
Try connecting the corsair to the usb 3 hub on bus  4.

Re: Corsair k70 not detected by ckb

Im sorry. I did not at all specify the problem The linux kernel can detect my keyboard just fine. But my driver cannot (ckb). I probably need to address this issue in another thread. Not in hardware. I apologize for wasting your time.

Re: Corsair k70 not detected by ckb

are you using https://github.com/ccMSC/ckb / aur ckb-git?

If so, check the troubleshooting section in the readme, it lists specific kernel parameters that may solve the issue.
