apvlv segmentation fault when option autoscrollpage unset

The title has all the information I currently got. Someone encountered this problem before and know how to fix it?
This line in my .apvlvrc seems to cause random segmentation faults on startup:

set autoscrollpage=no

When set to yes, it runs without problems

*edit: I just installed this document viewer, so I don't know if the cause is a package update
