Hi,
I'm using XFCE with LightDM.
For locking screen I use the "dm-tool lock" command.
The problem is that when the screen is locked, the system won't suspend automatically.
I "solved" the problem by setting the screen to lock while suspending, which works.
The "error" seems to be that the system needs root priviliges to suspend when screen is locked.
I know that xubuntu uses light-locker, so I tried that too, but it seems to be the same as my solution.
(it only locks the screen after a period of time before suspending... but then the suspend doesn't work (it asks for root priviliges again))
Is there a lightDM setting I'm missing?
In lightdm.conf I have this (everything else is commented out) :
run-directory=/run/lightdm
session-wrapper=/etc/lightdm/XsessionLast edited by Phalkon (2016-05-25 18:19:30)
Why Linux? Because it doesn't hide anything from you. It puts you so closely in control of your machine that you can feel its heartbeat.
