Firefox opening minimised

This is starting to annoy me, and FF is the only program that does it, but recently FF always starts on a clean boot minimised to (in my case) cairo dock. Now, it takes an age to get going the first time anyway, but that's a different matter. I don't want to start with a clean profile, and it is only recently (3 - 4 weeks) it's been happening.

Since everything else behaves, I assume it's not my DE (xfce4) or WM (LightDM).

So, clues as to why FF insists on starting minimised whilst everything else behaves. The launcher just starts FF, no switches.

Please help stop my annoyance.
