Hi all.
My problem began 2 or 3 days ago. My Gnome is laggy: the computer stops 0.5s every 3 or 4s. I suppose it bagan after an update... hard to be sure.
I have a somewhat modest computer :
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+, 4 Gio RAM, NVidia GT 520. But until 3 days ago, it was working (very) fine!
Some more information :
- the issue happens with gnome classic too,
- and when animations are disabled,
- but doesn't with XFCE.
top doesn't return any CPU time eater process / the system load is 0.5.
Who knows ?

I've foud the cause: it comes from the System monitor extension, more precisely the Swap switch. I have to turn it off and everything's allright.
If someone experiences the same problem...
