I've just installed Arch, and thought to have successfully have set up XFCE. However, upon first trying to use the DE, I realized that my track pad was not working properly:
Instead of working like a normally track pad, i.e. making the mouse move in the direction you slide your finger, it does do the same thing, however, not after making the mouse jump to the respective place on the screen of where my finger is. (i.e. when I place my finger on the bottom right of the track pad, it makes the mouse jump to the bottom right, and then moves accordingly)
I do not think that this is meant to happen. (I think it seems to think of my track pad similar to a touchscreen.) I don't think that it would have much to do with my graphics driver but just in case, I opted to use nouveau, which I believe I set up correctly. Thus far I haven't been able to find anything similar to this issue in the wiki or on the forum. So thank you in advance to anyone who can help me with this issue.
