XFCE (GTK?) menus broken

Hey guys,

I don't know exactly if this is a XFCE or GTK issue. At least I don't really know how to search for this issue maybe that's the reason why I didn't find something about this. Since a fresh install of XFCE my menu controls are broken. It looks like a broken theme r something like this. E.g. slide controls are not shown anymore or the NetworkManager-applet looks weird. I've attached some pictures, maybe someone has experienced this as well and knows a solution?

networkmanager

As you can see the 'box' around ethernet isn't there, it looks like a label.

pavucontrol

The slide to control the volume isn't there.

applet

The applet lacks some 'decoration', too.

Re: XFCE (GTK?) menus broken

Ok, after some more research I found the problem: Most themes doesn't support GTK 3.20. I use the vertex-theme know and everything is fine (even if it's not the best looking one).
